Shaun Ringsmuth's (Glassing, Street Sects) new project, Luvencie, continues its experimental approach by way of industrial and extreme metal sounds with another edgy new single which cuts through profoundly, and features another fitting collaborator.
New piece, This Glut, includes visual artist Otay:onii, who also sings in the experimental shoegaze band Elizabeth Colour Wheel. It is a frantic instrumental track which succeeds at its intention to depict the claustrophobic guilt of binge eating.
In accordance with the artist's usual technique, the vocals have been cut up and altered to be used as an instrument, pushing for a better depiction of psychological spinning and a sense of powerlessness.
