LA-based dreampop band, The Lylacs, follow their debut EP, A New Age, from early 2020 with new standalone single, Bliss, another fine expression of the band's attractive melodiousness and extensive emotionality.
Bliss was recorded in three days in North Hollywood with producer Jon Joseph (Borns, Mini Trees, Gothic Tropic), and it finds The Lylacs gaining from the pop sensibilities of their songwriting which are marked with a lush, elaborate and polished dreampop familiarity. Very expressive and seriously consistent thus far, The Lylacs are definitely an underappreciated act with a lot of promise enclosed in what they effortlessly do.
