Wax Heart Sodality: I Would Like Your Face

Wax Heart Sodality move on from the trilogy of their introductory singles with a fourth release which maintains the traditional psychedelic garage rock character for which they caught attention initially. I Would Like Your Face comes across quite heavy and stands out with intensity, owing to the band's drive and the expressiveness with which they consistently deliver.

The band describe the song as "a fun-filled, summer-tinged, garage rock track with guitar hooks aplenty, raw rhythms and a sing-a-long ending that talks about vanity and envy in our well-connected and perfection obsessed times."

I Would Like Your Face, like previous Wax Heart Sodality releases, was recorded by Mouses frontman Ste Bardgett, while the artwork comes from Paul Burgess.
