Knifeplay: Hurt Someone

Philadelphia shoegazers Knifeplay return nearly three years after their 2019 album Pearlty, with new two-song release, Hurt Someone, out via Born Losers Records. The band's new material was engineered by Jeff Zeigler (Kurt Vile, A Sunny Day in Glasgow), and it compares well to their previous releases, being a nearly perfect outline of emotive shoegaze and grunge grit, fitted with delicate vocals and dense instrumentals.

Knifeplay is a rising act in Philadephia's underground scene, having shared stages with Alex G, Coma Cinema, Horse Jumper of Love, Indigo de Souza, Joy Again, Jay Som/Justus Proffitt, Narrow Head and more.

Hurt Someone arrives with a fine visual with cinematography by Anna Killea.
