Crimewave is the new single and video by LA rocker Kate Clover, featuring Brandon Welchez of Crocodiles, and AJ and Johnny of Davila 666. Having just wrapped up a US Wet Coast tour with The Black Lips, Clover is working toward her debut full length, expected in 2022.
Crimewave is a traditional garage/punk rocker with a snarly, relentless approach, coming from a band which seems to be bearing the genre's time-honored distinction on its sleeves.
The song comes with a super fun video directed by Ambar Navarro, which similarly to the song itself, it works like a sharp commentary on a few crucial problems in contemporary society.
