Synthpop stalwart Maya Postepski announces a new album as Princess Century, and introduces it with the emotional single and accompanying video, Still The Same, a vibrant electro pop cut characterized by its deep romanticism, its pulsating instrumentals and Postepski's expressive vocal.
Maya Postepski has been earned a lot of acclaim for her work alongside Austra, Peaches, TR/ST, as well as for her film scores. Through her solo moniker, Princess Century, she has maintained a lower profile, yet, she has always kept the music's quality and its affectability many levels above par.
The coming full length, s u r r e n d e r, isn't necessarily about white flags and submission, but something which resembles "a surrendering of the self to everything around it."
