Floorless: Slow

Miami's Floorless come forth with a very full, very emphatic and very much engaging sound which lifts its most of its stylization from late eighties and nineties industrial metal. The band's album, Telepath, has been out for a couple of months, all expressive of the ponderous and gritty take on the genre with which Floorless have emerged since their formation in 2018.

Slow, the second single off the album, reveals the band's more slow-burning qualities, verging on sludge and doom metal, along the lines of a blend between Godflesh, Skinny Puppy and Front 242.

With their dark grain in full view, mingled with a solid dash of aware pop sensibilities, Floorless also manage to deliver something which strikes as being both extremely strident and melodic.
