Sea Change is the second single from After the Fire, Before the End, the upcoming album by the very consistent dreampop trio, Postcards, expected in its entirety in October 2021.
"Sea Change is about a brief moment when a drastic change seemed possible in our country and we were filled with a new kind of hope," the Beirut, Lebanon-based band remark. "Lujain Jo’s accompanying video is a tribute to that moment and our lives before it, when we were able to disconnect from the absurdity of this place."
Fuzzy and ethereal to the point of absolute tranquility and peacefulness, the new song is another slow shoegaze exemplar, along the lines of the customary pensiveness which Postcards' artistry emits more often than not.
