For his eighth single under the self-evident moniker DARK, the mysterious darkwave artist takes a more animated direction, with the danceable qualities of his composition in full display, and a theme which for obvious reasons is dubbed 'dark disco'.
"Resignation doesn't always come gift-wrapped," the artist comments on the new song's lyrical content. "Some breakups are simply unbearable."
IN THE SHADOWS is part of DARK's upcoming debut album, NIGHTMARE, scheduled for release on November 15th, 2021 through Young & Cold Records.
As expected, the song comes with a video immersed in ardent goth aesthetics, starring the model Vic Sin.
