From the very good and very heavy, Nous, the latest album by Swedish/Canadian post metal band, CULTED, comes an accurate cover of Crush My Soul by Godflesh, originally from their 1994 album, Selfless.
The band's reverence for the innovative artistry of Justin Broadrick and G. C. Green is evident, and their take on the track appears notably weighty and faithful to the original. Crush My Soul is now paired to a new video of dark, nearly abstract visuals and scenes of the band performing, integrating the aesthetics of both acts.
