Experimental rock band, Fly Pan Am, have announced their new album, Frontera, expected May 21st, 2021 through Constellation. The band's music is paired to the acclaimed contemporary dance piece of the same name whose production found Fly Pan Am touring as the live band into early 2020 when the pandemic brought it to a stop.
The Frontera album follows the narrative of the original work, where eight movements go through different moods, from extreme intensity to slower and more serene pieces.
Album track, Scanner, is a convincing example of how Fly Pan Am's vision for Frontera can also stand on its own as something categorically independent and compelling.
