Off his latest album, Free, from back in 2019, Iggy Pop has just released a video for Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, where he delivers the the well known poem by Dylan Thomas over the moody soundscape of his collaborators, guitarist Noveller and trumpeter Leron Thomas.
The clip, which was shown as part of Tibet House US charity event recently, is as plain and intimate as it gets, and it was directed by Simon Taylor, presenting that great artist at his most artful and existential, bringing his own wisdom to an all-time classic.
