Last month A Winged Victory for the Sullen announced their new album, Invisible Cities, their music from the critically acclaimed theatre production directed by London Olympics ceremony video designer, Leo Warner. The acclaimed duo have just shared the brooding and calming album opener, So That The City Can Begin To Exist, compatible with the band's signature cinematic feel and their solemn compositional approach.
Refined, esoteric and conveying notions and images of serenity, the new track sets the coming album in motion with an intriguing, yet, peaceful introduction, and sets forth AWVFTS to a fine 2021 start.
Invisible Cities comes out February 26th, 2021 on the band's own Artificial Pinearch Manufacturing label, as part of an agreement with their current label, Ninja Tune.
