The latest single and animated video by Gateway Drugs, The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, may be sharing the same title with the esteemed Gil Scott-Heron song, yet, although it obviously alludes to the 1971 classic, the sound and the final result is totally of the band's own, overflowing with fuzz and garage rock psychedelia, like the rest of the recently released full length, PSA.
Gateway Drugs express through their own means their radical, rebellious and protestant spirit, and how at present times those qualities are frequently controlled and exploited for profit and all the wrong reasons.
The Revolution Will Not Be Televised comes with a very creative stop-motion animated video created and directed by the band.
