Dead End America: Bullet for 45 (Straight from a .45)

Dead End America is an outlet of hardcore fury and brilliance composed of veteran musicians, with a heavily politicized intent, and a strong voice against the Trump administration and the Republican Party. Just in time for the US elections, the band will be releasing their debut EP, Crush The Machine, October 30th, 2020 through Southern Lord.

"Songwriting-wise, we were aiming for a mixture of Poison Idea and The Accüsed," says guitarist Tony Avila about the new single, Bullet For 45 (Straight From a .45)

Mike IX Williams adds: "Bullet For 45 (Straight from a .45) is a rallying cry to fight back against a garbage infected, corrupted liar's bullshit system and also a tribute to our late friend Steve Hanford aka 'Thee Slayer Hippy.' My only regret about this record is Steve didn't live to see the final release, but I know he'd be proud of us. These songs are a timeless and much needed hardcore punk metal blast into the face of an untrusted authority..."

Dead End America are drummer/vocalist Steve Hanford (Poison Idea) who died shortly before the EP's completion, guitarist Tony Avila (World of Lies, Why Won't You Die, Aborted Cop, Here's Your Warning, lead guitarist Ian Watts (Ape Machine, Minmae), bassist/vocalist Nick "Rex Everything" Oliveri (Mondo Generator, The Dwarves, ex-Kyuss, ex-Queens Of The Stone Age), and vocalist Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod, Corrections House, Outlaw Order), alongside and Blaine Cook (The Accüsed A.D, The Fartz, Toe Tag).
