Flunk: Down Here/Moon Above

Down Here/Moon Above is the first song revealed from the next album by Norwegian electronica veterans, Flunk; a very moody piece which conveys a bizarrely genial feeling of unease, and generally open to different interpretation

"Down Here… was originally made for one purpose," the band describe the new single's aim. "To be sent to the moon! It's a long story, but totally true. These days it possibly conveys the unsettling feelings of a health care worker about to start the night shift."

Maintaining a pretty steady balance between wistfulness and delight, Flunk, return in a good shape three years after Chemistry and Math with something that sounds and feels entirely up to par with their earlier material, mastering a grander style of production, and vocally as stately as always.
