Divisive hardcore metal quintet, Code Orage, follow their recent single and video, Underneath, with another piece of contemporary metalcore extremity. Off their anticipated new LP, also titled Underneath, comes the piercing Swallowing The Rabbit Whole, paired with an amazing video in the same vein as the previous one, again directed by Max Moore.
In a very much intricate and edgy manner the band once more impress and excite with their ability to leap forward musically and aesthetically, and produce something that challenges the confines of underground punk and extreme metal, fit to appeal to different audiences, without renouncing the band’s authenticity, and the unforced and raw nature of their sound.
“Swallowing the Rabbit Whole is the passageway into the deep descent that is the next era of Code Orange… the next piece to the puzzle of Underneath,” drummer and vocalist Jami Morgan comments. “Duality is key, not only thematically on this album, but in the continued evolution of our sound and the larger heavy music world in general.
