Code Orange: Underneath

Code Orange announced their upcoming new album, Underneath, and shared its title track and accompanying video, showcasing a turn toward an even bigger sound, while rooted in the hardcore underground from which they started.

The new album was produced by drummer and vocalist, Jami Morgan, alongside Nick Rasculinecz (Deftones, Alice in Chains) and Will Yip, mixed by Will Yip (Nothing, Touché Amoré, Turnstile) and Andrew Dawson (Tyler, the Creator), with additional programming, Nine Inch Nails’ drummer, Chris Vrenna.

As Code Orange become bigger and more ambitious in reputation, so does their sound which now daringly flirts with nu-metal and industrial metal without appearing outdated. The band has even two spots at this year's Coachella in April, and are ready to tour after that.

Underneath comes with a fantastic video directed by Max Moore, another name (together with the aforementioned Yip) that's been an associate to the band since the old days, and is still contributing a lot to their success now that they are publicized much more.

Underneath releases March 13th, 2020 through Roadrunner Records.
