Our favorite post industrial act has been kept pretty busy over the course of the last three years, and they keep on delivering, with each new cut being lyrically heavier than the previous, while their sound moves back and forth between intelligibility and chaos.
The next to last entry in the socially electric Gentrification series was previously introduced with Tomorrow is a Trap, and now its other track, the brilliantly titled If Life is a Gift, It’s in Very Poor Taste, comes with a blunt video directed by A.F. Cortes which contrasts the black and white elegance with exceptional vivid red highlights.
The vocals are once again charged, the lyrics are downright weighty, and the instrumental mayhem is relentless and pretty massive like the song's very concept.
Gentrification IV: Suspended from Gallery Rails comes out via The Flenser on November 22nd, 2019. If you're eager for a new piece of Leo's writing, then rejoice, because the new release comes with one.
