Greet Death: Crush

Michigan trio, Greet Death, are following their acclaimed 2017 debut album, Dixieland, with the upcoming, New Hell, out through Deathwish Inc. on November 8th, 2019, and predictably the praise will go on.

After the gazey, Do You Feel Nothing? and Strange Days, and the nine minute long and super mellow rocking, You’re Gonna Hate What You’ve Done, the band reveal Crush, a sweet Americana-tinged and winningly repetitive track which further proves their strength in beautiful lyricism, and their ability to craftily model their sound on nineties shoegaze and slowcore-bent indie rock.

Four tracks in, New Hell, is already coming along as an immense LP, deriving from a creative space of profound sentimentality.

The album was recorded by Nick Diener (The Swellers) at Oneder Studios, with additional tracking done by Jake Morse, and mastered by Jay Maas at Getaway Recording. Greet Death are Logan Gaval (guitar, vocals), Sam Boyhtari (bass guitar, vocals) and Jimmy Versluis (drums).
