False Heads: Slease

Prolific rock 'n' roll hopefuls, False Heads, continue building their already venerable reputation, showing impressive progress with each new step ahead. Last Autumn they released their acclaimed EP, Less Is Better, went on to share stages with notorious acts such as Queens Of The Stone Age and David Byrne, and are currently moving towards the release of a debut full length.

Slease finds the East London trio in super energetic, ferocious punk mode, and memorable and easy to take in as it is, the dynamic song does not lack in any of the fierceness, the poignant lyricism and the impeccably well done production which have made the band thrive from the very beginning.

"The song is really about being in a terrible mental state and everyone chipping in whether you want them to or not," state the band. "It's also about being okay with that state and revelling in it, which is never really a good thing."

Directed by Brigi Poti-Szaszfai, Slease is accompanied by a superb video which together with the music's eminence comprise an altogether engaging and compelling package.
