Float Away is Ladada's latest, freshly unveiled single, a grabbing encapsulation of Josiah Schlater's cunning songwriting and the melodic clarity in the band's fuzzy, multidimensional artistry. It is a peaceful and joyful song which at the same times evokes a sense of longing, as its blissfulness arises like an accurate representative of the spontaneity expressed by the album's cover art.
Produced to spotless perfection, Float Away should be more of a balmy listen for warmer months, still, its psych pop faultlessness is certainly worthy of yearlong attention.
