Youth On Soda: Soda Pop

More than a year after their noteworthy debut, Apple Pie, dynamic trio, Youth On Soda return with an explosive single, expressive of their signature mixture of raw queer punk and noise rock, and demonstrative of their evolution in relation to their production.

Still abrasive, and gritty as hell, the sensual energy of Soda Pop makes a captivating listen. It's tense and direct like the LA trio's earlier work, but sharper, mightier and better executed, and it comes out like a much prominent display of a band that continues to evolve and push forward through its organic creativity.

Soda Pop is punk rock, and it raises the bar for what is about to follow by this fine, weird young band.
