Stepping a bit aside from the more jangly dreampop sound of her acclaimed debut LP, Won, Lina Tullgren has recently unveiled an amazing new single in collaboration with upcoming producer and her friend, NTHNL.
Always Fine may sound somewhat more glitchy than expected, but the more electronic approach does not feel at all out of place in relation to the artist's previously laid out wistful and utterly characterful style of writing and delivery.
"At the end of the day, it’s all music," she explains. "I have a band, and sometimes I make computer music, I play solo performances, I improvise freely, but it all lives under the same umbrella."
Always Fine is an absorbing, quirky indie gem, and it's out now, one of the lastest outings from the always great catalog of Captured Tracks.
