Post hardcore punk quartet, Gouge Away, will be releasing their first album for Deathwish Inc., Burnt Sugar, on September 28th, 2018. The previously revealed album opener, Only Friend, is followed by another single release, the much forceful and spirited, Ghost, which demonstrates the band's more melodious side, still inclined toward noise rock, and redolent of the weighty sound of significant acts, like Fugazi and Unwound.
The forthcoming Burnt Sugar was mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker) and co-produced by Touché Amoré's Jeremy Bolm.
Gouge Away are about to head out on an extensive tour with Culture Abuse, followed by many dates with Drug Church.
