Mink’s Miracle Medicine: The Rift

2.6.17

Melissa Elizabeth Wright and Daniel Zezeski comprise the aspiring Americana duo, Mink’s Miracle Medicine from West Viriginia, whose debut album, House Of Candles has just been released, bearing influences from classic country acts like Patsy Cline and Hank Williams, with a more contemporary approach that parallels to some of today's top acts in this business, as in Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price or Lucinda Williams.

Album highlight, The Rift, is more of a dark folk-rocker, worthy of bigger exposure with airplay qualities by reason of its well-crafted songwriting and memorable hook. Expect a more traditional country feel from the rest of the eight-song LP, still and all, make sure to not miss it.
