Pallbearer: I Saw The Light // Video

The new album by Arkansas' Pallbearer, Heartless, has a grand opener in the form of I Saw The End, a great example of the quartet's tendencies towards a more complex sound and technical structures.

The song is now accompanied by a remarkable video, directed by Zev Deans / Panorama Programming (Lamb of God, Chelsea Wolfe, Ghost).

A statement by the band remarks: "Both song and video present a telescopic view on an eternity of corruption. The path of greed leads to misery. When higher awareness allowed us to claw our way out of the mud, we found new ways to exploit one another, abusing the gift that could bring us to new heights. In the end, we pay for our selfishness. Join us for this elegy for what might have been."

Pallbearer have some upcoming tour dates with Marissa Nadler and Kayo Dot, as well as some with Baroness and Nothing.
