Sweden's experimental post-rockers, pg.lost, have recently released their fourth full length album, titled Versus via Pelagic Records.
It's been four years since the band released their previous record, Key, as well as the fantastic split release with Chinese post-rock band, Wang Wen (惘闻), but pg.lost seem to have jumped right back into their craft with ease, creating once again a work of heavy and electric atmospherics, minus the distorted vocals which have given their place to additional synths, that assist into making their overall sound become even darker than before. Since the band's inception and early releases almost ten years ago, pg.lost have never disappointed, neither does Versus, a melancholic work of art that stands as one of the best releases the band's put together so far.
pg.lost are currently on a European tour with Mono and Alcest. On the 14-minute video that follows, they perform live in the studio two tracks off the new album, Ikaros and Off The Beaten Path.
