Dark band Shadow Age return with their new single Transit Fear, pushing their signature post punk sound into more immersive and cinematic territory. Shimmering synths, enveloping vocal layers, as well as pummelling rhythms and guitars that shift between ice-cold restraint and strong intensity carry the track through a dark, hypnotic landscape.
Transit Fear depicts a descent into grief and overwhelming anxiety. Deathly imagery communicates a profound state of emotional paralysis, as though the narrator has become trapped between unbearable memories and the fear of moving forward. Somewhere beyond that darkness, the track continues to search for love and light.
