Philadelphia collective Hour reveal Pearls, the second single from their forthcoming album, Ghost Bridge. Steeped in slowcore melancholy, the track unfolds with a poetic restraint that feels magnetic, drawing the listener into an atmosphere where every gesture carries unusual emotional weight.
Its accompanying video captures the first full-band rehearsal for the record, a considerable undertaking for a group involving thirteen musicians. Filmed by William H. Travis, the footage avoids elaborate staging in favor of preserving the fragile moment when nearly everyone finally occupied the same room. Flute player Adelyn was the sole absence, away touring Europe with Skullcrusher.
