Bestial Mouths reveal HISS, a seething collision of industrial rhythms, darkwave electronics and ritualistic menace. Lynette Cerezo’s voice cuts through the track like a warning transmitted from inside a collapsing system, while its relentless pulse turns collective dread into something physical and confrontational.
The song examines the point at which private suffering becomes inseparable from the forces shaping it, as social division reduces identity to another weapon in an endless cultural conflict. As the band explains: “When hatred becomes dispersed through a culture until it’s difficult to distinguish personal anguish from the machinery producing it, identity becomes performative, divided into subsets and factions. ‘Progress is fragile,’ and it can also be poisonous. This poison is cyclical: with the seeds we plant, we reap another generation of toxicity.”
Written by Cerezo alongside Brant Showers of ∆AIMON and SØLVE, and mixed by Alex DeGroot, HISS is the latest preview of DEAD LINES (Líneas Muertes). The eight-track album arrives September 4th, 2026 through Negative Gain Productions
