YZBL delivers Dust, a brooding new track that transforms physical heaviness into something dark, intimate and instinctual. Formerly a key member of industrial goth trio Tassel, the artist is now preparing to release a new record through Feral Crone Recordings on August 7th, 2026.
Built upon an industrial trip-hop rhythm, Dust carries the mechanical weight of minimalist industrial metal alongside the angst and bruised melodicism of mid-nineties alternative rock. Its dense and steadily inward, creating a sense of enveloping pressure, and an atmosphere that feels crushing and seductive.
Within that suffocating sound, Dust reckons with love and mortality as intertwined forces. Desire, dread and impermanence become difficult to separate, leaving behind a state of dysphoric ambiguity that the track never attempts to resolve. Heavy without relying solely on heftiness, the track lingers through repetition and the unsettling intimacy of being unable or unwilling to escape its grasp.
