German dream-punk outfit SEASURFER continue their long-standing exploration of volume, atmosphere, and emotional intensity with the release of their new EP Angels, out in June 2026. A second companion EP, The Noise Is Ours, is scheduled to follow on August 14th, further expanding the band's immersive blend of shoegaze, post punk, and towering walls of distortion.
Led by founder Dirk Knight, whose musical journey includes collaborations with Robin Guthrie and John Fryer, SEASURFER have spent years refining their sound, based on a collision of dense, feedback-soaked textures and ethereal vocal melodies.
Among the new EP's standout moments is Crazy, a sharp reflection on modern alienation and digital overload. Wrapped in post punk energy and shimmering noise, the track examines a society hypnotized by endless streams of information, where people drift through daily life with eyes fixed on smartphone screens. The result is both a critique and a snapshot of contemporary existence, delivered through the group's unmistakable blend of beauty and abrasion.
