SCAM, the electro-pop project of Icelandic composers and producers Herdís Stefánsdóttir and Salka Valsdóttir, emerges with their new single, See Feel Touch Die, continuing to build on the sound introduced by their debut single, Mentally Gone.
Written during a period of intense seismic activity in Iceland, the piece emerged from a mix of unease and exhilaration. Those emotions shape See Feel Touch Die, a ritualistic and suspenseful track that reflects the enduring force of nature and its capacity to surprise.
Driven by a hypnotic bassline, tight percussion, and bursts of modular synths, SCAM channels these themes into an engaging listen. The track gradually evolves into something entirely venturous, never losing the charm of its moodiness, while the accompanying visual can be similarly dark and mysterious.
