Nice Weather: Voyager

Nice Weather, the ambient project of Justin Pittney, returns with Voyager, a new instrumental piece that continues his exploration of the baritone guitar as a space for atmosphere and immersion rather than a conventional lead voice. As with all Nice Weather releases, the track was performed and recorded live to analog tape, preserving a sense of immediacy and presence.

Voyager goes deeper into drone and texture, maintaining a consistent sentimental thread as it progresses. It follows a contained trajectory without percussion or unexpected alterations, implying forward drive until it reaches a moment of mild fragility and returns to tranquility.

The concept remains based in a distinct, inward-facing style, with pieces created outside of commercial expectations. Each release includes Pittney's original analog photography, which has been minimally modified for a square format, with the whole film picture serving as the work's visual base.

It's cinematic and well-produced music that accepts vulnerability and openness in a very natural way.
