Formed in Atlanta in early 2023, LungBurner have quickly carved out a voice within the doom, stoner, and hard rock spectrum that carries a lot of weightiness and direction. With their new track offering, they step into a broader frame, opening the door to what feels like a defining moment for the project.
As the opening number from their upcoming album Dogma, set for release April 17th, 2026 via Terminus Hate City, Adamu establishes the record’s foundation with conviction. A ritualistic undercurrent runs through it, as if the piece is quite concerned with invocation.
The band’s grounding in southern sludge metal remains evident, and it’s expanded outward. Industrial textures drift through the composition, adding a sense of unease and scale, while a progressive heavy rock perceptiveness shapes how the track unfolds.
