Kommentar is the second single from Eskilstuna-based band HUVET’s forthcoming debut LP1, and carries a certain kind of immediacy that feels instinctive, and not at all forced, with each section landing dynamically, without overextension.
There's a wide spectrum at play in the band's new work. The color and looseness of psychedelia are combined with the density of sludge and the sharper edges of noise rock, letting melody surface without smoothing over the grit beneath it. The outcome is bold, daring and grounded, shifting between texture and impact while keeping a steady forward motion.
Kommentar holds onto a refined balance, brave in its choices, loud in its presence, and measured enough to let its details settle. It’s a track that moves directly, trusting its contrasts to coexist coherently.
