Deeper Graves lean further into the shoegaze side of their sound on their new single OVER MY SHOULDER, confidently blending it with a broader post rock approach as they descend into even deeper shades of melancholy.
In contrast to their previous single, WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE which drew more heavily from post punk and deathrock influences, the new track feels adrift in a hazy, exploratory spiral, and moves with graceful, almost delicate fluidity, carrying a weight of earnest sentimentality throughout.
