Bleach Dreamer is a veteran indie presence who has spent a lot of time blurring lines between musical styles. Their work exists at the intersection of pulsing eighties club sounds, the apprehension of post punk, and the glow of dreampop, creating music that feels both driven and sentimentally distant.
The more observant Destroy//Exist reader may catch echoes of a certain Canadian shoegaze/dreampop underground staple we’ve returned to often, but in the interest of letting a new voice stand on its own, Bleach Dreamer earns that space without argument.
Not Another Happy Ending is the project’s latest reveal, a track that confronts the moment one realizes their inner circle was never truly on their side. It is abotu relationships built on convenience, exploitation, and quiet resentment. Ultimately, the song moves toward release and growth, discarding the burden of deception and forging a fresh route forward.
