LEYA: Weaving // YHWH Nailgun Version

Earlier in 2025, the breakout experimental rock outfit YHWH Nailgun turned heads with their debut album 45 Pounds on AD 93. The group has unveiled a strikingly different take on Weaving, a track originally released last year by the New York duo LEYA.

Their reimagining reshapes the angular, transcendent core of LEYA’s acclaimed late-2024 EP, I Forget Everything, into something completely unpredictable. Arriving on the EP’s one-year anniversary, and following Chanel Beads’ reinterpretation of Corners, the track pushes the project’s collaborative spirit into new territory.

YHWH Nailgun bend the original into a wholly new form. A tense, coiled rhythm pulses beneath a sinking bed of synths, while vocalist Zack Borzone delivers incantatory lines that feel more overtly melodic than the band's previous material.
