Non-diegetic Sound is the latest track reveal from Mirror at Night, the forthcoming album by American-German visual artist and composer Eric Angelo Bessel. Due out on October 31st, 2025, Mirror at Night marks Bessel’s second solo release and features twelve instrumental compositions.
Bessel describes the new offering: "Non-diegetic Sound scrapes the uppermost layers of Earth's atmosphere, calling out to the void of space where all time sighs and folds."
Much like the previously unveiled Scavengers, this new track is a delicate study in serenity and mood. Though brief, Non-diegetic Sound conjures a vivid, immersive atmosphere. It’s another example of how Eric Angelo Bessel manages to distill emotion into minimal form, giving way to sonic spaces and picturesque qualities that feel quite intimate and comprehensive.
