We Lost The Sea: Everything Here is Black and Blinding

Everything Here is Black and Blinding is the second single from A Single Flower, the new album by We Lost The Sea, the acclaimed instrumental post rock band from Sydney, Australia. The track blends a brooding electronic atmosphere with the sweeping builds characteristic of the genre, and it marks the band’s first official music video.

The clip features a single performer, Emma Dunstan, improvising dance and movement in response to the music, as if trying to outrun her own thoughts. Inspired by Frida Kahlo, the song serves as a protest piece, pairing emotion with striking visuals.

All of the cinematic qualities for which We Lost The Sea are mainly known are present once again, showing proof of a band which continues to captivate, move, and remain unwaveringly consistent in their craft.
