Togetherness Is All I'm After marks the fourth single from Love Chant, the eagerly awaited new album by The Lemonheads, a record that’s shaping up to be a luminous return for the beloved band.
Currently living in Brazil, where much of the album took shape, Evan Dando’s recent move has ushered in a subtle but meaningful shift. It’s a relocation that seems to have offered space for reflection, reconnection, and the slow crystallization of the new songs.
Set to release this autumn in tandem with Dando’s memoir Rumours Of My Demise (Faber, November 6th, 2025), Love Chant is produced by Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Apollo Nove and features a rich tapestry of collaborators woven throughout.
On Togetherness Is All I'm After, Dando drifts into a melody that feels gentle, slightly bruised and tender. It floats over a dense swell of guitars, rich, hiding tension in the layers, without any particularly sharp edges.
