Black Cross Hotel: The House God Doesn't Visit

Born as a horror-inspired industrial metal experiment from synth visionary Andrew Ragin (The Atlas Moth) and guitarist Marcus Eliopulos (Stabbing Westward), Black Cross Hotel quickly grew beyond side-project status into a fully realized force.

The band's lineup solidified with drummer Mike Miczek (Earthburner, Broken Hope, The Atlas Moth), bassist and veteran producer Sanford Parker (Minsk, Corrections House), and the voice of DeEmme (Whipped). With DeEmme at the helm, the band’s focus shifted from cinematic horror tropes to the complexities of human desire, evolving into a conduit for fierce, unapologetic expression.

Their new record, Songs for Switches, finds its beating heart in the lead single, The House God Doesn’t Visit. The track embodies the album’s sonic identity, bringing forward a strong instrumental base of growling bass, sharp guitars and radiant synths clashing with a crushing chorus.

Immaculately produced and incredibly heavy, the song channels the primal energy of industrial rock and metal while cloaking it in a dark atmosphere, setting Black Cross Hotel apart as a band whose sound demands attention.
