On Fire is the new single which marks the return of pioneering indie rock/slowcore group IDAHO, who have just unveiled details of their highly anticipated album, Lapse, set to be released on May 31st, 2024, through Arts & Crafts Productions.
Representing the band's first new material since 2011, On Fire is a poignant track which looks over the band's evolving journey. Frontman Jeff Martin describes the song mentioning that it “sounds like IDAHO circa ‘96."
With its characteristic four-string guitar feedback, in a wistful manner, On Fire captures the nature of IDAHO's punk-inspired approach to consistently bringing forward emotive, slow-paced music, exhibiting a band which remains fiercely passionate and innovative after all these years.
