Swedish heavy rock outfit Greenleaf makes a solid return with their ninth full length, The Head & The Habit. The release is introduced with a single and video for the opening track, Breathe, Breathe Out. True to its title, the album examines poignant narratives revolving around emotional turmoil and the complexities of mental health.
The band once again embraces their trademark heavy sound, featuring impassioned vocals and colossal riffs infused with an electrifying energy, and powered by a bluesy stoner rocking drive. This time around, the lyrical depth is particularly profound, showcasing Greenleaf's heightened creativity after years in their path. The Head & The Habit sees the veteran band demonstrating a renewed vigor with even greater intensity and focus.
