Chicago punks Lost Legion present their fresh take on classic US punk with their new offering, Dressed Up Like a Warrior. Together with five other great modern punk bands from around the globe, the song was included on the compilation Stronger Than Before released through Battle Scarred Records in the US and Try and Stop Me Records in Europe.
Lost Legion's sound is founded on memorable and appealing guitar riffs paired with fierce and intense vocals. It is a blend of original punk rock tradition and hardcore elements, all of which comes together finely.
Dressed Up Like a Warrior hits like a punchy, lo-fi mashup of straightforward, political lyrics and heavy punk rock sound which harkens back to Black Flag and Poison Idea. The forceful track mentions the protesters who staged the US Capitol attack on January 6th, 202, in its lyrics.
