Last Days of Kali, an instrumental heavy post rock band from Tarntanya/Adelaide, South Australia, are releasing their eagerly anticipated debut album, FRAGMENTS on March 24th, 2023, nearly seven years after recording began.
Goodbye, the album's opening track, began as a Spaghetti Western homage which hypnotizes the listener into a fictitious sense of safety, while becoming a refined and enchanting presentation of the band's instrumental strengths and overall vision.
Drummer Luke comments: “The songs on Fragments provide a snapshot of some of the diverse ground we have covered in our 12-year history. With life, the universe and everything getting in the way, it’s great to finally get some f***ing closure!”
FRAGMENTS was engineered and mixed with Jimmy Balderstone at the former GhostNote Studios in 2016 and mastered by Carl Saff (Boris, The National, Russian Circles, Sleep) in 2017.
