The roster of the still new but already highly regarded Dedstrange has begun to come up with seconds. Case in point, Berlin techno punks Data Animal, who release Human Resource, the first single from their upcoming album Chemical Cowboy, in which they go totally unhinged in the barren desert.
With fuzzed-out, exhilarating electricity in its sound and an atmosphere that paints a cyberpunk, anti-utopian, post-apocalyptic picture, the follow-up to the extremely strong Future Primitive appears to be going in the same direction as its predecessor. Human Resource sounds challenging, like the pinnacle of psychedelic garage rock grit.
Data Animal will play next in NYC as part of The New Colossus Festival, March 8th-12th, 2023.
