Fashion Club is a solo endeavor by Pascal Stevenson, a member of the Los Angeles post punk band Moaning (Sub Pop). Share the Present by GIFT is presented by Fashion Club in a completely new arrangement with an uplifting club mix.
Stevenson's oscillating breakbeats and hazy bass drones contribute to a sound which tempts individuals to the dance floor, and at the same instant, TJ Freda's engaging poetic and melodic remarks take center stage during the whole track.
Fashion Club's remix of Share the Present, which is available on Dedstrange, is yet another indication of how GIFT's album, Momentary Presence, transcends genre and stylistic boundaries.
